MNSA Hawk Watch

The purpose of the MNSA HawkWatch is to assist in the monitoring and protection of hawks, eagles, other birds of prey and their environments.  Through similar efforts around the country and world, monitoring and protecting birds of prey  can also help protect our shared environment, our rich natural heritage, and ourselves.

This year, 2015, MNSA has partnered with Specteo. Using Specteo, teams can take their fieldwork paperless. The Specteo platform allows you to quickly input new studies on the web and send them to tablets and phones for data collection. the 2015 Hawk Count will be collected using this system. We will also be posting other observations during our Hawk Watch observation periods. We highly recommend anyone and/or programs that rely on recording, organizing and sharing field data between students or co-workers should contact them. Tell them MNSA sent you.
